Welcome – to what we believe will become the largest amateur golfing challenges to ever be run in Australia.

We love our golf and we love to travel (and we know you do too), so this is your chance to play the game you love (and hate sometimes) and win your way to the TaylorMade Order of Merit final in Las Vegas, USA.

How does it work?

To be eligible to enter the TaylorMade Order of Merit, you must have a current official Golf Australia or Golf New Zealand handicap. For a one off fee of $99, your best 10 competition rounds (as referenced by your handicap record) count during the qualifying period. The qualifying period refers to rounds from 1st January to 31st December. You must play at least 10 competition rounds and have them recorded on your handicap history. You can play lots more – but it is only the best 10 rounds that will count.

There will be six grades – 3 Male (A, B and C) and 3 Female (A, B and C)

A Grade: 0 – 12	A Grade: 0 – 19
B Grade: 12.1 – 19	B Grade: 19.1 – 27
C Grade: 19.1+	C Grade: 27.1+

The grade you are competing in is determined by your official handicap at date of joining.

What do you need to do?

Nothing! As the TaylorMade Order of Merit is not specific to any one club or competition, once registered we will track your scores through GolfLINK.’

So how do I win the TaylorMade Order of Merit?

Depending on the number of participants in each grade there will be multiple qualifiers for the TaylorMade Order of Merit final to be held in Las Vegas in 2020. Put simply, for every 100 players in a category there will be an Order of Merit qualifier. For example, if there are 220 players in Male A Grade, then the top 2 players from Male A Grade will qualify to compete in Las Vegas. If, however there were 550 Female B Grade players, there would be 5 qualifiers! Simple. The more players the more qualifiers (so tell your friends – the more the merrier and the better your chances of going!)

And what do I get if I win?

The qualifiers for the TaylorMade Order of Merit final not only get bragging rights for the next 12 months but they also get the opportunity to compete in the final to be held in Las Vegas, USA. Qualifiers will receive:

Economy return flights to Las Vegas
3 nights’ accommodation
Welcome and presentation functions
Entry into the all important final round of golf

How will I know where I am sitting on the TaylorMade Order of Merit?

Beginning in early March we will send out a weekly TaylorMade Order of Merit list for each grade – as well as putting it up on our website. So, you will always know where you are coming in your Grade and what you need to do to stay in the running for the qualifying prize.

Do I get anything else for my fee?

Absolutely! As well as being part of what we believe will become the biggest Amateur competition in the country you will receive throughout the year several offers from our partners.
