Teams of 2 will once again take to the fairways and greens around Australia – vying for the chance to make it to the Challenge Series final on the Gold Coast in January 2020. But this year the winners of the final go 1 step further - competing in the TaylorMade Order of Merit final being in Las Vegas in February.
The fourball aggregate stableford event format is back – ensuring that both players need to bring their A game to stand a chance of qualifying.
We’re delighted also to welcome a range of sponsors to the Challenge Series – TaylorMade, PureForm, Concourse, onPlatinum – ensuring that there are a great selection of prizes at each of the qualifying rounds as well for the finals.
And then of course there are the opportunities to play some great courses – including Royal Fremantle, Commonwealth, NSW, Royal Adelaide and Royal Pines – just to name a few.
We’re also introducing something else into the mix this year – our very own Order of Merit. With nearly 30 days of competitive golf coming up this year in Australia and Overseas, players will also be competing in the 3 Links Tournament and Event Order of Merit. Play a minimum of 5 rounds (and provided you have joined the TaylorMade Order of Merit) and you are automatically in the running.
So that’s a whole lot of incentive to get on board with 3 Links in 2019:
So don’t delay – get your best golfing mates together and your diaries and plan your attack on the 2019 Challenge Series – you won’t be disappointed!
